Describe your favorite vacation. Every summer my family and I enjoy spending time up at Wells Beach in Maine. Since before I was born, my grandparents have rented the same cottage right on the beach during the month of August. When I think of going to the beach, Wells is the first place that comes to mind and I can picture the long stretch of beach from the jetty all the way to the center. Whether we’re able to go for just a few days or spend an entire week I love every moment of our vacation there. We are so spoiled by being able to wake up and just walk right out onto the beautiful beach. |
What type of movie do you like best (drama, mystery, horror, comedy, romance, etc.) Why? I don’t really have a favorite genre of movies. I recently started watching horror movies with one of my good friends Gina. We’ll go to Movie Scene and try to find the scariest movie out at the time. However, if we rent a scary movie we have to balance it out with a comedy. After we’ve been screaming and hiding behind pillows, we need a good laugh. As long as the comedy we choose can take our minds off the previous film long enough for us to fall asleep, that’s all that matters! |
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Ten years from now I, like many other contestants, hope to say that I am a former Miss New Hampshire and maybe even Miss America. At 28 years old, I will have completed my Doctorate of Physical Therapy and will be helping to improve the lives of many individuals. I can see myself still involved with both baton twirling as well as dance in some way and I plan on continuing to give back to my community. I dream of starting a family and being the best mom that I can be. I can also see myself still involved with this amazing program in one way or another. Whether it is by assisting other contestants, serving as a judge or maybe even as a director I know that I could not give up this organization. Ten years from now may seem like a long time away but it will come fast and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for me. |
If you had to give one piece of advice to the younger generation what would it be? Others will like you for who you are, not for who you are trying to be. If we are constantly trying to be someone else and live the lives of others we are not living our own lives to the fullest. It is okay to be different, everyone has their own imperfections. Just be yourself! |
