What is your major in college/what interests you most in school? My major at Northeastern University is Physical Therapy, and I am currently in my third year of the entry-level doctorate program. As a dancer, I have always been fascinated by the capability and endurance of the human body and can fully appreciate the significance of caring for your body. As a physical therapist, I will combine my love of helping others with my interests in anatomy by rehabilitating patients in need. It seems the more I learn about my chosen medical field, the more I discover new interests, including my interest in neuroscience as it relates to Physical Therapy, leading me to receive my minor last year in Psychology. I cannot wait to find new opportunities and see where my future takes me.

List three qualities that you would like to be known for. Three qualities I would like to be known for are my commitment, generosity and friendliness. When I am given any kind of project, I pour my whole heart into it and sincerely care about the work that I do. I also understand the importance of being an approachable and engaging role model, and hope that by being personable, these would be my most impacting and memorable characteristics.

Describe your favorite vacation. My favorite vacation was to Belfast, Ireland for the All-Ireland Irish Step Dancing Championships. My Irish Step Dance team qualified at both the local and national levels in North America and was given the opportunity to travel overseas. It was thrilling to me not only because it was my first time out of the country, but because we competed with the best dancers from around the world, and won! The unique culture in Ireland made this an unforgettable trip, along with my team becoming the first North American team to ever win this title. It was a once in a lifetime vacation that I will always treasure.

Are you an early-bird or night owl? Any member of my family will immediately tell you I was previously the definition of a night owl. I have always been extremely productive and awake in the evenings, which has been helped define my time management skills. However, ever since working at Massachusetts General Hospital, I have been forced to also become an early-bird. With a cup of coffee in my hand, I am ready to face any obstacle, any time of day!
