Eligibility Requirements
To compete in the Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program, a candidate must first win a local preliminary pageant. Some local programs have specific geographic eligibility requirements, based on where you live, attend school full-time, or work full-time. However, all programs share the same general eligibility requirements:

Be age 18 – 28 for Miss America – birth years 1995 – 2005

Be age 13 – 18 for Miss America’s Teen – birth years 2010 – 2005

Must be a female

Must not be married or a custodial parent/guardian

Must live, work full time, or attend school full time in New Hampshire

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must be of good character

Be able to meet the time commitment and responsibilities as set forth by the local program in which you compete

Be able to meet the time commitment and responsibilities as set forth by the Miss NH program should you win the title

Register and pay a registration fee at the Miss America website and pay a $75 entry fee per local program

The Local Director will send you the candidate contract. However, if you need an accommodation, please contact the local director and copy her/him on the accommodation exhibit.
You must contact the director of the local program(s) in which you wish to participate regarding any specific geographic restrictions or other requirements, including local appearance dates.
